John L. Rohan, Founder & Managing Director

John has over 20 years of hands-on US GAAP and SEC experience advising both public and private clients in complex accounting and process areas. He is no stranger to the fire-drills that all too often arise for those in senior accounting and finance positions. John started his career at BDO USA, LLP, spending nearly a decade in the general assurance practice, where he was Senior Manager. Prior to founding JLR, he held senior level accounting positions at MDC Partners, Inc. (ticker: MDCA), Monster Worldwide, Inc. (ticker: MWW, until acquired in 2016), and GT Nexus Inc. (acquired by Infor in 2016). John started JLR in 2018 as a way to offer the expertise and quality of a large firm, but with the focus on client service that a small firm provides. 

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of New York.
